Taylor Glomb is from St. Louis, Missouri and is currently studying Piano Performance at Drake University. She is working towards a Bachelor in Music (BM) degree under the direction of Dr. Nicholas Roth, head pianist at Drake University. She will continue her studies after graduation and will work towards a Doctor of Musical Arts degree (D.M.A.)
Taylor is currently a piano teacher through Sounding Sharp Studio in Des Moines, Iowa. She strives to create a healthy learning environment for her students so they can learn and grow as much as possible throughout the year. She also hopes that each student will gain a sense of musicianship through lessons and develop a love and passion for piano.
Taylor has been recognized for significant musical and academic achievement at the 2019-2021 Arts & Sciences Honors Convocation. She was selected by the music faculty at Drake University to receive the following award for three consecutive years:
Paul Stoye Prize for Outstanding Piano Performance: intended to provide a cash award to students studying piano who exhibit outstanding ability in public performance.

2014 - Conducted two orchestral pieces for Handel’s Messiah Concert given at Little Flower Church.
June 2016 - Hired as bridge musician between finding a new music director for St. Dominic Savior Catholic Church. Played the liturgy on organ and piano for three masses each weekend from March through June.
2016-2018 - Member of Webster University School of Music Preparatory (PREP) program. Perform concerts at Webster University and the Barclay House each season.
Perform various liturgical pieces (accompanied) for school masses, prestige choir concerts, and performs Broadway tunes for musicals (The Little Mermaid) and as head pianist for The Sound of Music.

2014-Current- Plays liturgical music for organ and and piano at various churches such as Mary Mother of the Church, the Shrine of St. Joseph, St. Luke’s the Evangelist, St. John’s the Apostle and Evangelist Cathedral, Sacred Heart Parish, St. Wenceslaus, St. Joseph of Croatia, and Little Flower Church.
2018 - 2019 Organist for Drake University Symphonic Band Concert with Vince Kenney as conductor.
Performed in masterclasses of the Keys to Excellence Piano Series as well as the Summer Music Concert Series directed by Bruce Brubaker of the New England Conservatory of Music.
2018-Current - Member of the Drake University Community Choir.
2018-Current - Substitute pianist and organist at Mary Mother of the Church in Arnold, MO. Substitute pianist/organist at St. Catherine of Siena and Westminster Presbyterian Church in Des Moines, IA.
Pianist and organist for weddings and funerals at various churches.
2021-Current - Editor for Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity at Drake University.
