Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Taylor Glomb is a first-year Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) candidate in Piano Pedagogy at the University of South Carolina. Before moving to Columbia, she received a Master of Music degree in piano performance from Northern Arizona University in Spring 2024 and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Drake University in 2022, both with high honors. As President of the Collegiate Chapter of the Music Teachers National Association at NAU, she presented at the Arizona State University Pedagogy Conference in 2023 as well as the 2024 MTNA National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. During her undergraduate years at Drake University, she was recognized for significant musical and academic achievement at the Arts & Sciences Honors Convocation and received the Paul Stoye Prize for Outstanding Piano Performance. While currently pursuing a DMA degree at USC, Taylor works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during the school year. She is a piano instructor for the Center for Piano Studies, teaches the Young Artist Musicianship and Repertoire I class, and works as a collaborative pianist for various studios in the School of Music. Outside of school, she is the full-time organist and pianist for Lexington United Methodist Church in Lexington, South Carolina.
